Secretariat

1. The Secretariat, located in Shenzhen, the People's Republic of China, is the executing body responsible for daily operations of the IMC, under the authority and guidance of the Council.

2. The Secretariat consists of:

    a. one DG;

    b. one Deputy DG for administrative matters and finance, who shall be appointed by the Host Country;

    c. one Deputy DG for programme and external relations, who shall be selected by open recruitment;
