Prof. He Changchui delivering lecture
The lecture focused on issues such as the evolution of the global governance landscape, the operational mechanisms of international organizations, and the reshaping of the capacity structure of international talents. Prof. He, drawing on his 25 years of working experience in the UN system, deeply analyzed the power games among global governance subjects. He pointed out that there are still weak links in the strategic layout for international talents, and underscored the pressing needs to systematically enhance capabilities in terms of competence, leadership, and cultural integration. Prof. He emphasized that in the face of the complex and volatile international situation, it is necessary to be adept at seizing opportunities and acting in accordance with the trend, proactively integrating Chinese wisdom into global issues, enhancing professional expression and cross-cultural communication skills, and strengthening China's influence and say in international governance.
When discussing the development of an international talent cultivation system, he pointed out that it is necessary to base on the national strategy and build a hierarchical and sustainable talent cultivation mechanism, especially strengthening the strategic thinking, international vision and cross-cultural ability of young talents. He encouraged the younger generation to constantly enhance their comprehensive qualities, actively express themselves on the international stage, and integrate advanced concepts into protection practices. This lecture deepened the participants' understanding of global governance trends and broadened their knowledge of the operation of international organizations and the cultivation of international talents. The IMC will continue to uphold the concept of "joint consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits", deepen international cooperation and capacity building, and continuously promote the global mangrove conservation cause to a new level.
